The means of dying, yes.
Actual death, no.
Afterlife, no because I don't believe there is one, much as I would like there to be.

“To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause:”

The only thing that scares me is being a burden to my children, so I hope death happens quickly and I don't linger.

No, although it’s easy to say that if you’re not immediately facing death.

It’s not something I worry about, though. I don’t think anyone would enjoy living forever, so why worry about it ending some day?

Nurse do you mean a long period of suffering for you, or mean quickly as in before the kick off to the new season....

Marines have a saying along the lines of "everyone wants to go to heaven but not everyone is willing to die first"

something like that anyway...........

Getting old and becoming a burden worries me more than death. And Andy Carroll's ankle.

Yup. Terrified of dying. It’s a bit irrational but completely.

Re: Are you scared of dying/death/the afterlife?
It's actually difficult to explain consciousness unless we assume every particle of matter is in some way conscious.

A purely material view does not explain how consciousness gets into the mechanism of our bodies and a dualistic theory that consciousness is separate from matter has us talking mumbo-jumbo about souls.

So Panpsychism is the new thing the cool kids' are talking about - everything is conscious at a certain level only the level of consciousness increases with complexity. So when the body dies, all that happens is we go down a level or two until, within time, we get reorganised as, say, a bubble in the West Ham United bubble machine the moment we win the League.
